I have worked with James Brolly on projects ranging from renovations in complex historical buildings, to the complete renovation and conversion of a single family home into a fully accessible home for multiple residents with severe developmental disabilities for a large non-profit organization. His work is professional, he is responsive and cost-effective, and he completes his projects on time, or even ahead of schedule.

Jim has done two major projects for us, a two-story addition some years ago and then, more recently, a complete kitchen and bath renovation. In both cases, we were very satisfied. The work was done in a timely fashion and stayed within our budget. Because we were living in the house during construction, we really appreciated the fact that the carpentry crews were so easy to get along with. If we have another project in the future, we will definitely call Jim.

Jim Brolly and his crew have done quite a bit of work to our home. I remember saying to Jim in the early stages of our first project, that I want to love it when it's done. Years later we still love our home, and the renovations that Jim did. We would, and have highly recommended Jim and his crew for any job, big or small.
Jim put us in touch with an architect, Michael Williams, who together with Jim understood what we wanted to accomplish and the result was exactly what we had hoped for. Jim is also someone who does what he says he is going to do. There is no worrying about whether the job will be done correctly, or whether the workers will arrive each day, in fact we kind of miss having his lead carpenter, Cliff around. If an issue or question should arise, Jim was always there that day to solve the issue, answer the question and get the job moving.

Building a new 4-unit colonial style condominium buildout with no experience could be a nightmare, but it turned out to be an enjoyable one with the professional help from Brolly Construction.
Therefore, it is with a sincere heart that I send this note thanking all of you who have worked on our project. The quality, timeliness, and professionalism of all involved warrants an outstanding reward of excellence.
Several times recently I have been aware of other construction projects and, honestly stating my opinion, Brolly Construction is the best. Bar none. The most important facet of this excellence is James' sensitivity and warm personal attention to our needs. If something wasn't quite right, no matter how minute the detail, he and his team were right there. Additionally, as we wanted to have each unit offering be unique - yet still within cost, the ability to work with Jim directly on the design of the interiors we wanted for each unit verses having a fixed set of plans was also very pleasing. We were also impressed with the 'callbacks'. One example was when James negotiated with the vendor & replaced cabinet parts that had very small scratches that we had not even noticed.
So in closing, thanks again. You folks are the best and are truly recognized and acknowledged as such whenever the topic of home renovation & restoration comes up.

We purchased our 2-family home in 2005, and to say it needed renovating would be an understatement! The house was in dire need of repair and required a total gut job. After speaking with a number of contractors, we eventually settled on giving the project to Brolly Construction. We were so glad that we did! James came in with a budget and explained everything that would be done, and how long each step of the process would take. They kept to the budget and even finished a little ahead of schedule. We were actually able to rent out our first floor apartment a month earlier than we expected! James and his crew were always very approachable and open to any and all ideas we had. Some of our neighbors have had them do work on their own properties as a result of the great job they did with our house. We would highly recommend Brolly Construction to anybody who is looking.
